Give a little general information about yourself: how did you become interested in dance? How old were you when you began dancing?
Growing up, I watched my mother and sisters twirl, leap, and perform on beautiful stages. For as long as I can remember, those butterflies I got while watching them dance was all I wanted to feel forever. As soon as I could, I took my very first ballet class (practically before I could walk), and ever since, it’s been my passion!

What kind of career do you hope to have?
I adore the thought of being able to own my own studio and company! I have such a strong passion for choreographing and teaching, I would be thrilled to start my own studio and then get to continuously expand from there! Above all else, though, I want a career that allows me to create: create art, dance, love, and joy.

What is your favorite thing about the Department of Dance?
The endless opportunity for collaboration! Because of the Department of Dance's diverse background, you can learn and create innovative works with your peers, teachers, and friends!

Do you participate in any community cultural activities or work in the Charlotte arts community?
I am a dancer and teacher for the Adrianna Eve Company, a contemporary based company that performs locally in Charlotte. It is my second home!

When you are not in class, studying, working or rehearsing, what do you like to do for fun?
I love to improv, spend time with loved ones, read, and bake pastries (brownies are my favorite!).
