Give a little general information about yourself: how did you become interested in architecture?

I started thinking about architecture as a major when I was in the 6th grade. I wanted to study both engineering and design together. Because I moved several times throughout my life; I saw a variety of styles of constructions, and each of them originated from a different culture and a different school of design. This generated a high motivation for me to go deep in the beautiful world of architecture.

What kind of career do you hope to have?

I hope to become a licensed architect and have my own firm one day. I would also like to work on projects that present more than one culture all together in a unique diverse mixture.

What is your favorite thing about UNC Charlotte, the College of Arts + Architecture, or the School of Architecture?

What I love the most about the School of Architecture is the relationship between students and how much time we spend together, supporting each other, and socializing to the level where we feel like family members.

Do you participate in any community cultural activities or work in the Charlotte arts or design community? If so, please describe.

I always try to attend any cultural activities and sometimes I volunteer as a henna designer, which is the art I try to spread the most.

When you are not in class, studying, or working, what do you like to do for fun?

I’m a bookworm, so I love spending my free time reading and spending time with family and friends when I’m out of the studio.
