Scholarship information

The Department of Theatre offers several scholarships to incoming freshmen and continuing students. Awards are based on artistic and academic merit as evaluated through auditions and portfolio reviews. Scholarships for continuing students are awarded based on notable achievements in the department and financial need.  Students must log in to the Niner Scholars Portal to apply for scholarships.

In addition to departmental scholarships, the University offers a comprehensive program of student financial aid – scholarships, grants, loans, and part-time employment (work-study) – to assist students in meeting educational expenses.  For complete information, contact the Office of Student Financial Aid at 704‑687‑2461.
