Nadia Anderson, associate professor of architecture and urban design and director of City.Building.Lab, has been invited to present lectures on publicly engaged design at the Technical University of Ostrava (VSB-TUO) and the Architectural Institute in Prague (ARCHIP) in the Czech Republic during the week of October 31. She will also be leading a workshop on public engagement design methods for academics and professionals in Ostrava.
Anderson joined the School of Architecture faculty this fall. Her research, teaching, and practice focus on publicly-engaged design as a vehicle for social empowerment and environmental resilience. Prior to joining the UNC Charlotte faculty, Nadia was a member of the architecture and urban design faculty at Iowa State University. Read her full bio here.
