Associate Professor of Dance E.E. Balcos has been chosen as a touring artist with the North Carolina Dance Festival (NCDF) in Fall 2016. Each year, the NCDF brings modern and contemporary dance choreography from professional North Carolina artists to audiences across the state. A panel of NCDF adjudicators selects five professional choreographers through a blind adjudication process to participate in the annual NCDF statewide tour. The Fall 2016 NCDF touring dates are:
Raleigh - September 10, 2016
Boone - October 28-29, 2016
Greensboro - November 12, 2016
Balcos and UNC Charlotte dance alumna Tai Dorn (2007) will perform FORWARD/REWIND, a work that Balcos choreographed in 2006, set to music by Bernard Hermann.
