Ok-Kyun Im is an interim research fellow in the Integrated Design Research Lab (IDRL) of the School of Architecture. Prior to his current position, he received a Ph.D. degree in Building Technology of Infrastructure and Environmental System (INES) at UNC Charlotte. His research interests include building simulation, building performance prediction using regression analysis, data analysis, and building façade system development. He has patents through the development of multiple kinetic façade systems and is conducting research on the development of high-performance building facades with support from the NSF.
